If I bought a brand new maxi Sys , I would most gently unpack it and keep everything as new , and it  better work right on everything right  out of the box that  I try it on because I think it would complicate things for returning it as new immediately to seller for an exchange unit if I already registered unit in my name and updated the unit. 

I have had the sameyproblem with a Honda civic but I beleave it to be an issue with the
